Signal is a recognised and credible source of Safety Critical Equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and holds multiple, universally recognised, quality performance certificates, including those listed below, which are available to download.
Internal Processes
All our internal processes are audited and compliant with ISO 9001. However, we believe that to continually improve as a business and to ensure a first-class service for our customers, we need to go beyond the basic requirements. All our processes are therefore mapped in standard operating procedure format and targets set and continually monitored.
British Safety Industry Federation
The British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) is the UK's leading trade body within the safety industry and the association for PPE Regulation. It is recognised as a Competent Authority by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). Safeaid is an active member of the BSIF and its Registered Safety Supplier Scheme (RSSS) and we fully support the objectives of the RSSS, which are to:
- Raise industry standards
- Ensure users demand that their supply chain is part of an accredited organisation
- Highlight the volume of uncertified and fake PPE available on the market
As members of the RSSS, we have signed a binding declaration confirming that the safety equipment we supply meets or exceeds appropriate standards, as well as agreeing to random product testing and audits, carried out by independent UKAS accredited laboratories.
Independently Audited
We are independently audited by a third party. ISO-Tech is our appointed auditor. It is ISOQAR certified and a UKAS regulated auditor.
